oke here's le sexual dimorphism in Effossas (closed species btw) 
from afar they look the same but up close they're completely different
males are shorter with lighter coloured skin, a dark ring in the eye socket, has a bulky-heavy appearance, their horns on the back of their skull are aligned straight and has more prickly armour than females do
females are larger with darker coloured skin, markings are spread out from the eye socket, thinner in appearance, their horns point upwards, less armour than males and has thick hair-like quills instead of spikes
the green and red symbols are their own way of 'gender determination'
